WhiteWater Printing is Hiring a Screen Printer Near Charlottesville, VA
WhiteWater Printing, a water-based screen printing operation in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a part-time Screen Printer. This position is primarily responsible for setting up print jobs and operating a manual printing press. Secondary responsibilities include heat press operation, embroidery, preparing screens and garments for printing, cleaning screens and equipment after printing, folding and boxing shirts, mixing inks, and general shop cleaning and maintenance. This position requires standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Some ink mixing and screen cleaning involves using chemicals - PPE is provided.
Prior experience in screen printing, heat pressing, embroidery, or graphic design is preferred but not necessary. We are seeking a person who has the following characteristics:
- Good communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
